OSEC product verification tests are divided into product categories. However, a core set of testing criteria applies to all products tested (and could well be applied to any networked product). You'll also see some criteria parallels between product categories. For example, a firewall handling state faces issues akin to those faced by a network-based IDS, and so there will be overlaps, to the extent there's good reason to overlap testing methods.

Test summaries are raw, guts & glory traffic and test charts for the different tests. Test descriptions discuss the purpose behind, and what to look for with the various tests. Test results are the completed product tests for a given category, warts and all.
